Purported LG Optimus G leaked ahead of launch

The upcoming LG Optimus G which is said to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset has gotten some photos leaked ahead of IFA 2012.

The Optimus G that carries the model number E973 runs on the latest quad-core Krait processor at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. The front features a large 4.7″ IPS display that does 1280×720 which gives it a density of 320ppi. Over at the back, it comes with a 13MP camera. Internally it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it is possible that the device might be launched with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

With a benchmark blazing quad core processor and 2GB of RAM, this could be the most powerful Android smart phone to be revealed at IFA next week. The other device to look out for is the Galaxy Note II.
