The “World’s First Full HD Android Tablet” Enters Malaysia

Wipe that drool off your mouth, the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity is now available in Malaysia. Deemed by ASUS as “the world’s first Full HD Android tablet”, the Transformer Pad Infinity One is packed to the gills with tech including a 600 nit 10-inch full HD 1920×1200 Super IPS+ display strengthened with Gorilla Glass 2, a 1.6 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with 1GB RAM and 12-core GPU.

There’s also a micro SD card slot that takes in cards up to 32GB in capacity, a 1080p video capable f/2.2 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera and a micro HDMI port, all this is packed in a slender body that’s just 8.5mm thick finished in that uber sleek spun metal design.

The Transformer Pad Infinity comes in two variants – 64GB and 32GB. Both are WiFi only and there’s no word on whether ASUS will bring in the 3G version. The 64GB retails for RM2,599 and is available now, the 32GB (RRP RM2,199) will be available in August. The price includes the ASUS Mobile Dock that packs a full-featured QWERTY keyboard and additional battery.
