Motorola SEA Announces Delay to ICS Update for RAZR

Motorola had originally planned to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the RAZR around the second quarter of this year but it looks like that plan has hit a snag with the latest announcement on Motorola’s South East Asia Facebook page confirming that the ICS update for the RAZR will miss the Q2 deadline.

Motorola SEA cites issues discovered during testing as the cause of the delay and did not indicate when the much-awaited OS update will be released. All we can do now is wait.

Meanwhile, Brightstar Malaysia has mentioned that it will be announcing something about the RAZR MAXX tomorrow (June 20). We’re expecting market availability and pricing details to be revealed. Stay tuned for updates.
