Sony is planning something big next week. Specifically, the device manufacturer is gearing up to unveil possibly more than one Xperia smartphone into the SEA market. Exact details on these new Xperia smartphones are still sketchy but it’s not unreasonable to think that the Japan-only Sony Xperia GX (previously known as the Hayabusa)to it to other markets.
The Sony Xperia GX packs a 4.6-inch HD Reality Display with 1280×720 pixel resolution (319ppi) and a “stacked” 13MP camera capable of shooting 1080p HD videos with a 1.3MP front camera. The device runs Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Qualcomm MSM8960 with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on board memory. Battery capacity is 1,700mAh
Along with the Xperia GX, you can expect the rugged duo, Xperia acro S and Xperia go to enter the Malaysian market as well. In any case, we will be where the action is to give you all the details next week, so stay tuned.
