ASUS Transformer Pad coming end May at RM1799

The ASUS Transformer Pad, which is the affordable sibling to the ASUS Transformer Prime is coming real soon. According to ASUS Malaysia, the Transformer Pad will be in stores by end of May and they have revealed the price in their product guide at RM1,799. This comes inclusive of its colour matching keyboard dock.

At RM1,799, that’s the same price as the original 16GB Transformer when it was announced a year ago. As comparison, the premium Transformer Prime is priced at RM2,199.

In terms of specs, it comes with a 10.1″ 1280×800 WXGA IPS display, Quadcore Tegra 3 processor, 32GB of on board storage, 8MP rear camera and a front facing 1.2MP camera. For those that don’t fancy the keyboard, you might want to check out the quad-core Acer Iconia Tab A510 that’s priced at RM1399.
