Samsung Galaxy S III Media Preview happening next week

UPDATE: Samsung Galaxy S III to be available in Malaysia somewhere between 30 May-1st June.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is coming to Malaysia sooner than we think. We’ve just gotten official invite for the Galaxy S III media event which is happening sometime next week.

Based on previous launches such as the Galaxy Note (Friday, 11th November) & Galaxy Nexus (Friday, 13th January), Samsung has a tendency of launching their devices on a Friday. The Galaxy S III will debut commercially starting in Europe on 29th of May which is a Tuesday and it is highly likely that we might be getting it by 1st of June. However since the media event is happening next week, we have a feeling that Malaysia availability could possibly happen earlier right after Europe.

In terms of Telco availability, we can be sure that DiGi is among the first to offer it. Over the weekend, their Galaxy S III ROI page had accidentally went public and was shortly removed later. Other telcos such as Celcom, Maxis & U Mobile are expected to offer the device simultanously as well. We are expecting a launch similar if not better than the HTC One X.

This is it people! The designed for humans smart phone is coming real soon.

If you want to find out more about the device, you can get a headstart by reading the manual here.
