Quad core Acer Iconia Tab A510 coming soon

Since quad-core is becoming the trend now at least for Android, here comes another quad-core device in a form of a tablet. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 which is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 1.3GHz quad-core is coming to Malaysia very soon with IMCC now accepting pre-orders at RM100. Price is unknown at this point but it is expected to be released by mid-May.

To recap on the specs, the Iconia A510 features a 10.1″ TFT LCD display that pushes 1280×800 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. In terms of expansion slots, it has a micro USB port, HDMI out and a microSD card slot at the sides. There’s a 5MP camera at the back and a 1MP camera over at the front. Overall it is 10.2mm thick and weighs 680g.

Another quad-core device that will be releasing soon is the ASUS Transformer Pad (300) that comes with a matching keyboard dock.
