LG has announced the Optimus 3D Max, the sequel for its Optimus 3D Android smart phone which comes with couple of new enhancements. While maintaining its glasses-free 4.3″ 3D screen that pushes 800×480 pixels, the Optimus 3D Max now runs on a dual-core 1.2GHz OMAP 4430 processor. It has 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal storage.
New on the device is the inclusion of NFC and the introduction of LG’s Tag+ which lets you switch profiles by tapping. You can also expect a tiny bit more life as the capacity is bumped from 1,500mAh in the previous 3D to 1,520mAh in the 3D Max. In terms of 3D shooting, it still comes with dual 5MP cameras and there’s a front facing VGA camera as well.
At time of announcement, the Optimus 3D Max runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
