UPDATED: DiGi to Offer Plans for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Tomorrow

UPDATE: DiGi starts pre-order of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 from RM1,399. RRP RM2,099. More details here.

Update: Word has is that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will very likely be available at selected Samsung Exclusive Partner stores this Friday. By very likely, we mean most definitely.

Heads up people, DiGi just dropped the bomb on Facebook. The operator will be revealing plans for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 tomorrow. We don’t think physical units will be available tomorrow but if DiGi does what they always do, you can expect the Galaxy Tab 7.7 to be available on pre-order on DiGi Store Online. And if DiGi continues to do what we think they will do, you can expect to receive delivery of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 by Friday.

Earlier, Samsung revealed that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will retail for less than RM2,500. Our estimates put the device around the RM2.2k mark mainly because of the 7.7-inch 1280×800 Super AMOLED Plus display – possibly the largest Super AMOLED Plus display on a consumer device to date – which will be expensive to produce, so naturally, you can expect a premium for that display.

We’re expected other operators to start revealing plans for the device soon as well. Stay tuned!
