iPhone 4S Malaysia launch all set for 16th December 2011

UPDATE: Maxis starts registration of interest for the iPhone 4S. Malaysia launch confirmed on 16th December.

If you’ve been waiting for the iPhone 4S to launch in Malaysia, mark your calendars this 16th December 2011. According to our regular tipster, the 16th December launch date is more or less confirmed with Celcom being among the first to offer the device. Although they were late for the iPhone 4 party earlier this year, it is likely they will be joining the ranks of other big boys on the big day.

Next question would be how much would it go for? We predicted the pricing could be slightly lower compared to previous iPhone 4 outright pricing but prevailing US Dollar exchange rates might prove this otherwise. With 3 telcos offering the device, we can expect some competitive bundling.
