Rooted: Samsung Galaxy Note

Future Samsung Galaxy Note owners who are also habitual rooters will enjoy this bit of information — your soon to be launched device has been successfully rooted.

For the n00bs that want to go down the dark and some say satisfying path of rooting, check out the how-to video after the jump.

Always remember, rooting — just like jailbreaking — voids your device’s warranty and could possibly damage your device. Not to scare you or anything but the chances of things going very wrong are there, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. So if you’re a first-timer, follow the instructions to the letter. You’ve been warned.

On the flip-side as soon as Ice Cream Sandwich is available to the public, you can run it on your future Galaxy Note almost immediately without the need to wait for the official update from Samsung. To some, that’s more than enough reason to take the risk. All the best.
