Microsoft announces global roll out of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

After much anticipation, Microsoft has officially announced its roll out of Mango, the latest Windows Phone 7.5 which aims to bring WP7 up to the next level. It offers a variety of much needed improvement such as better social network integration, improved web browsing experience, group chat and much more. This will close up the gap with its rival Android and iOS platforms.

No exact dates are given but it is expected that majority of WP7 users worldwide will be having it by end of October. Microsoft has provided a check status page but Malaysia isn’t specifically mentioned. Our closest neighbour Singapore shows “delivering update”.

Another interesting info is that a range of mobile devices with Windows Phone 7.5 will be coming into Malaysia in the next couple of months. HTC Titan or Radar, anyone? Looks like 2011 will end with a blast.
