DiGi offers Bold 9900 ROI sign-ups with exclusive deal

Here’s a reason why you sign-up for registration of interests — you get exclusive offers. For those who have signed up your interest for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 with DiGi you should be getting an email highlighting a special offer.

Starting from the 29th August 2011, DiGi is giving the first 400 customers who purchase the Bold 9900 with a 24 months DG Smart Plan 68 contract, free BlackBerry Internet Service for 5 Months The free BIS service is worth RM50 or a measly RM10/month.

The deal is avaialbe at all DiGi Retail Centers nationwide from the following dates:

  • West Malaysia from August 29 to August 31 2011 (first 300 Customers)
  • East Malaysia from Sept 7 to Sept 9 2011 (first 100 Customers)

DiGi says the exclusive offer is available by invitation only so only those who have received the email from DiGi indicating the offer are eligible. You will need to bring the email along to redeem the offer.

The offer is quite an anti-climax. A good discount on the device would be more appealing to subscribers we think.

This is a good reason to sign-up for ROIs? Actually, maybe not.
