BlackBerry Bold 9900 Malaysia launch September 15

BlackBerry users, it’s time to sell-off/give away your old Blackberrys and start saving up for the Bold 9900. It’s official, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will hit stores September 19 15 and here’s the best part, you don’t need to sign for a contract with a telco to purchase one.

On launch day, the Bold 9900 will be available for purchase from authorised dealers outright, however there’s no word on pricing yet at the moment.

If you’re still keen to get the Bold 9900 with a contract, Celcom, DiGi and Maxis, have already opened registrations of interest. We’re expecting U Mobile to offer the device soon as well. Three telcos opening ROI simultaneously for the same device, this is something you don’t see very often.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the first Bold to feature a touchscreen interface and it is quite possibly the best Bold ever. At 10.5mm thin, it’s definitely the thinnest Bold ever. In fact, the 9900 is the thinnest and most powerful smartphone BlackBerry has ever produced with a much improved BlackBerry 7 OS, a 1GHz processor, 8GB of on-board memory, NFC support and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording capability that’s the best we’ve seen on a BlackBerry device.

If there’s only one BlackBerry that we can recommend to you, this is it.
