Celcom says 6 days to Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch

UPDATE: Celcom has fast forward the clock, now showing 4 days till launch. Malaysia Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch now happening on Saturday.

This is it people! Celcom has put out a countdown timer to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it is T-minus six days to launch day. Not counting today, that would mean the launch of the much awaited Honeycomb tablet will be on Monday, August 22 (if our calculation is correct) — just in time for the Raya celebrations. At launch Celcom will offer the 16GB 3G version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1. At the same time the device is also available for purchase sans contract at authorised Samsung stores.

Still the device pricing remains elusive and we now hear that the earlier rumoured crazy sale might not happen. We’re keeping a close eye on developments and as always, once we know, you’ll know, so keep it locked tight on SoyaCincau.com.

Big thanks for Twitter follower @wlighter for the tip!
