Fake iPhone from China indicates possible iPhone 5 design

While the iPhone 5 launch and design is still up in the air, China has what it seems to be a fake version of the upcoming phone. There’s no way to confirm whether this is the final iPhone 5 design but it is not surprising that the mainland Chinese are capable of doing stuff ahead of the real thing.

Previously before the iPad 2 was launched, China has already started manufacturing cases that fits the actual device which comes with necessary ducts and holes for buttons, camera and speakers. The fake device shown above looks pretty good and has a thickness of 7mm, a larger display and a bigger home button.

A few days back, cases that claims to be compatible for the iPhone 5 had surfaced and it does resemble closely to the device shown here. Could this be it? If it is, it sure does look good.

What do you think? More pics after the break.
