ASUS Malaysia offers special price for Transfomer keyboard dock to pre-order customers

Looks like ASUS Malaysia is trying to make amends on the blunders made earlier at the Eee Pad Transformer launch.

Pre-order customers will be getting a special price for the all important keyboard dock purchase. The dock retails for RM429 but all the 150 pre-bookers will be able to purchase the accessory for RM300.

Though this doesn’t mean that the dock will be available this Saturday. Instead interested pre-bookers will be required to put in a deposit when they collect their Eee Pad on May 28. ASUS Malaysia says that they will inform interested customers when shipment of the dock arrives before the end of June.

So ASUS Eee Pad Transformer pre-bookers, will you be claiming your pad this weekend? To those who are still on the fence, ASUS Malaysia reminds that unclaimed units will be sold to public after 12pm on the same day.
