This is yet another Samsung Galaxy II promo video. To prove that the device is up for any extreme challenges, they have gotten help from Kenton Cool, a climber which has scaled Mount Everest for the ninth time.
Assisted with a new mobile base station close to the summit, Kenton will climb all the way up to the summit and shall attempt to make a phone call from the top. Climbing Mount Everest is a huge challenge itself however we reckon making a call can be achieved with any device as long as there’s mobile reception. Last year, TeliaSonera had increased its 3G coverage on Mount Everest and making a call isn’t much of a challenge if it extends all the way to the peak.
Check out the video of his phone call at the summit and other “extreme” videos after the break.
