iPad 2 availability in Malaysia & Singapore this Friday

UPDATE: Official pricing revealed from RM1499 for iPad 2 16GB WiFi. Read about it here.

Apple has issued a press release that the iPad 2 is coming to Malaysia and Singapore this Friday, 29 April. Other availability countries also includes Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Philippines, South Africa, Turkey and UAE. Japan is launching theirs tomorrow on 28 April.

In the release there’s no mention of local prices but we could be expecting it to be similar to the unconfirmed pricing revealed earlier.

Sales on ground are expected to start at 9am while the Apple online store starts earlier at 1am.
