UPDATE: Malaysia iPad 2 Pre-booking and pricing revealed! Read more here.

Update 2: iPad 2 Malaysia launch date is confirmed — April 29. Full pricing details here.

It looks like the April 29 date for the iPad 2 launch in Malaysia is pretty much confirmed as we now have an eye-witness account of iPad 2 and accompanying Smart Cover stocks already in Apple retail stores.

The pictures you see here were taken from an Apple retail store located in Tropicana City Mall just moments ago.

While the store rep was reluctant to provide any details on pricing, the person who took these pictures said that the selected Apple retailers will be looking at providing special bundle offers for accessories like screen protector and the Smart Cover at launch.

In terms of pricing, Malaysia is expected to be one of the cheapest places where you can get an iPad 2 with prices ranging from RM1,700 for the 16GB WiFi variant to RM2,750 for the 64GB 3G+WiFi variant.

So if you’re planning to get an iPad 2, better have April 29 free and prepare for the long queues.

As always, keep it locked on to SoyaCincau.com for the latest updates on iPad 2 in Malaysia.
