While Nexus S is the only Galaxy S derived device to offer Gingerbread OS officially, Samsung Galaxy S users are also able to get some Gingerbread loving thanks to a leaked official ROM at XDA Developers forum. This is purportedly the official release version which comes with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI that runs on top of Android 2.3.3 OS. Compared to the Nexus S, obviously you can’t call it Pure Google experience.
