Apple gives an iPad to a man whose wife said he couldn’t get one

So the story goes something like this: Man bought iPad 2, goes home happy but was promptly sent back to the store where he bought it because his wife said he couldn’t have one. Upon returning the device, said man noted in his reason for returning the device as “wife said no”.

The unusual note was passed up the rank and got the attention of two Apple VPs who made the call to give the man an iPad 2 which was delivered to the man complete with a note that says “Apple said yes”.

Not sure about the legitimacy of this story but its fun to share, and if it is in deed true, goes to show Apple does have sense of humour.
