Tonight Samsung will unveil its latest Galaxy Tab family member which comes in 8.9″. This places it in between its current 7″ and 10″ tablets that have been announced so far.
Ahead of the big event, the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has been leaked and it appears to be thinner than the iPad 2 at only 8.6mm! The iPad 2 thickness is 8.8mm while the original 7″ Galaxy Tab is at 11.98mm.
Weight wise, it is at 470 grams making it 90 grams more than the 7″ version and the screen supports a higher resolution of 1280×800. Processor wise, it is powered by a dual-core 1GHz CPU.
