U Mobile Pay As You Use broadband rates now at 5 sen per MB

In conjunction with their U Mobile BlackBerry service launch, U Mobile has reduced their PAYU data rates from 1 sen per KB to 5 sen per MB! That’s a huge difference and it follows the same low PAYU pricing as TuneTalk.

This takes effect immediately today 21st January 2011 on all excess usage on U Mobile broadband plans. Based on the new PAYU usage of 5 sen per MB, that’s equivalent to RM50 per GB upon exceeding your bundled data quota. For power users, it is still recommended that you go for UB68 which comes with no excess charge if you exceed 5GB of usage.

You can check out more details of U Mobile Broadband Plans here.
