Remember the Meizu M9? The Android 2.2 smart phone with a Sharp developed ASV display technology to rival the iPhone 4’s Retina Display caused quite a sensation in China with huge masses of people standing in line to purchase the device when it was launched. Now those of you who are interested to get one here can and here’s how.
A Hong Kong online retailer DealExtreme has started offering pre-orders of the Meizu M9 which opens an opportunity for us Malaysians to buy it thru them. There’s no guaranteed availability date and there’s a note mentioning that due to shortages, they can’t guarantee delivery time. DealExtreme normally offers free shipping worldwide for those who wait but at $449 or about RM1377, we suggest you take up a premium shipping for greater peace of mind.
Specwise, it is written as powered by a Samsung Galaxy S’s 1GHz processor with PowerVR SGX540 GPU and it comes with 8GB Storage on board. Official specs are available here.
