The Android 2.2 smart phone with a Sharp developed ASV display technology to rival the iPhone 4’s Retina Display caused quite a sensation in China with huge masses of people standing in line to purchase the device when it was launched. A Hong Kong online retailer DealExtreme has started offering pre-orders of the Meizu M9 which opens an opportunity for us Malaysians to buy it thru them. There’s no guaranteed availability date and there’s a note mentioning that due to shortages, they can’t guarantee delivery time. DealExtreme normally offers free shipping worldwide for those who wait but at $449 or about RM1377, we suggest you take up a premium shipping for greater peace of mind.
