The folks at Engadget had a scoop on what seems to be LG’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Someone on the LG exhibition floor managed to snap a quick video at LG’s Thinq home automation corner and that’s where an Android tablet was found on display. He managed to snap a good steady few seconds of the device before being told to leave by exhibition staff.
We can’t tell what processor it runs on but details revealed that it runs on Android 2.X and it has a 8.9″ display. Some are also saying this could be a dedicated tablet to remotely manage your LG Thinq home automation devices but we would like to believe it as a new tablet to go head on with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Design wise, it does look similar to the iPad, especially the home button at the bottom.
