Samsung Galaxy Tab roadshow

So the Samsung Galaxy Tab is launched in Malaysia and if you are wondering how is compared to an iPad, here’s your chance. The Galaxy Tab will be on display at Sungei Wang, Concourse Area from 21st until 24th October.

As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Tab retails at RM2699. With a Maxis contract, it goes for a subsdised RM1849 for 12 months and RM1749 for 24 months contract. RM2699 retail may sound expensive but in reality, that’s just RM100 more than the Galaxy S RM2599 retail price. Some may argue that it is more expensive than an iPad but we’re not sure how much the iPad is until it’s officially launched here with telco bundling.
