We were teased yesterday that a Panasonic Lumix Phone is coming and now the device is finally revealed.
The Lumix Phone made its debut at NTT Docomo’s booth at Ceatec 2010 Japan. Just like we mentioned earlier, it comes with a 13.2 Megapixel camera together with 3G and WiFi connectivity. Being a Lumix, we are expecting this to be a full fledge digital camera complimented with phone capabilities. There are 4 colours available: black, pink, blue and faint gold, that looks more like silver. The design is clever whereby the front looks like a digital camera. The only give away is the slider keypad that reveals its mobile phone character. This reminds us of the old Sony Ericsson S700 with a spin keypad. No pricing was revealed at the moment.
A check on their microsite revealed that everything is in Japanese which possibly means that this may be a Japan only device for now but we’re hoping that this will be made available elsewhere too. Engadget who is at the expo managed to have a peek on the device as there isn’t one available for hands on use.
