DiGi’s BlackBerry Curve 3G pricing finally revealed

DiGi has finally revealed the pricing for the BlackBerry Curve 9300 (Curve 3G) on DG Smart Plan. It goes for an attractive RM759 over 24 months contract or RM899 over 12 months contract. This comes after a while of waiting when Celcom and Maxis had announced their pricing earlier.

Strangely, there’s something different for DG SmartPlan. If you noticed on the device, there’s a little highlight that says “Add-on RM10/month to enjoy BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)”. This also appears on the Curve 8520 page but not on the Bold 9700. Did DiGi just started charging additional RM10 for BlackBerry users? That makes it RM78/month.

Originally the RM68/month subscription came with Unlimited Internet with BIS included. This even allows you to tether via USB. Looks like new subscribers today would need to pay more. We will try to confirm this with DiGi.
