Official Twitter App for iPad now available

Twitter for iPad has been officially announced by Twitter on its blog.

With the iPad having a bigger screen, they looked at it as a great opportunity for a better Twitter experience. There are several new features that Twitter had included for its iPad version that makes it easier to read and manage your busy social feeds.

First they introduced Panes which expands the tweet further especially when it contains photos, videos or external links. This makes browsing a whole lot easier as you can easily switch between panes with a simple swipe.

For those photos and videos, the Twitter App lets you preload the content on the app itself while you moved on to the next tweet. Once its fully loaded, you can return back to view them. Another beauty of the app is the ability to use gestures to view details or to perform tweet actions.

If you got an iPad, download it now from the App Store.
