Dell launches Aero with AT&T

Dell has launched a new Android device called the Aero and it goes for $99.99 on AT&T’s 2 year contract or $299.99 without. As mentioned recently, the Dell Aero might be coming to Malaysia within this year as well.

The Dell Aero carries a 3.5″ 640×350 screen which is quite rare and has 2GB on board storage with microSD slot. It supports HSDPA up to 3.6Mbps, EDGE and also spots a 5 Megapixel camera.

Disappointingly as expected, it runs on Android 1.5. We hope they have a Android 2.2 update in their plans as running an older version is a turn off.

That said, we’re looking forward to the Dell Thunder which seems to be able to offer something solid.

You can check out the Dell Aero product page here.
