iPhone 4: Pre-orders now open. Here’s how you can get your hands on one!

(UPDATE 2345hrs 20072010) iPhone 4 Registration of Interest for both DiGi & Maxis now open.

Apple Stores in the US, UK and France have now started to accept pre-orders for the latest and greatest iPhone.

Unfortunately for us Malaysians, we’re not going get privilege of owning one until August at the earliest but don’t let that stop you from ordering direct from the US and becoming one of the very first in Malaysia to own one.

We got in touch with online concierge service, VSHub to find out if it is possible to order the iPhone 4 and have them ship it to Malaysia for us.

The answer is a resounding yes! Just register to become a VSHub member to get your very own U.S. shipping address. Once you have that, you can proceed to pre-order your iPhone 4 at the Apple Store, make the payment and then wait for the magic to happen.

Expect to pay for this prvilege though. There will be an additional charge for shipping & handling, plus the conceirge service.

But be warned though, the U.S. iPhone 4 will be locked to AT&T, so might have to wait a couple of weeks for the hackers to figure out how to unlock it.

And another thing, we’re not in any way endrosing VSHub or whatever. We just thought that some of you might want to find out how you get your hands on the iPhone 4 before anybody else in Malaysia.
