Maxis offers LG GD910 Wristwatch Phone

It is challenging to remain unique and different these days in a world where iPhones and Blackberry are the primary choice of phones.  Now there’s an alternative which makes you stand out from the rest!

Maxis is offering the LG GD910 wrist phone which definitely change the way you use wear your phone. This LG Wristphone retails at RM2899 but Maxis is offering it for RM2499 for existing Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink customers. A pretty steep price to pay for the sake of being different.

Since it is such a small form factor, functionality is obviously stripped down to a bare minimum.  Basic specs as follow:

  • 8 different clock faces
  • Basic Voice/Video/SMS/Contact Features accessible via touchscreen
  • Built-in MP3, Camera, Speakerphone & Bluetooth
  • Runs on EDGE, GSM 900/1800/2100 and WCDMA

For more in-depth review, check out the review from Engadget. Official specifications located here.

This cool looking phone is something worth considering for those with extra cash to burn.
