At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) recently, Nokia had launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 as well as the nostalgic Nokia 3310. But there are new rumours that the Finnish company could likely release a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset as early as June.
The alleged Nokia 8 is said to sport a full-metal body and will come in two different sizes, mimicking the strategies of competing companies (i.e Samsung, Apple and Google) with similar specs.
Some of the rumoured specs include a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display, 24-megapixel rear camera and 12-megapixel for the front and two storage versions; 64GB and 128GB. Both the versions are said to come with expandable storage support via microSD card slot (up to 256GB) and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
Rumour mills are going crazy that the flagship is likely to feature a dual camera system that will not feature PureView technology because of Microsoft, and Nokia had tweeted out themselves that Carl Zeiss was out of the question. However, these are all indeed just rumours for now, so be sure to take all this information in with a grain of salt.
