In a message from the OnePlus team as posted on their forum addressed to the Malaysian market, they have expressed their need for an apology as they feel they have let their Malaysian fans down.
Granted the OnePlus team is still inexperienced, they felt the need to apologize for a variety of mistakes they made with a promise of doing better. It’s great that they’re still so invested in the Malaysian market (and community) as a whole, and despite the initial setbacks in regards to being ‘so eager to get you the phone that we lost track of what matters the most – our users‘.
However they were in KL recently to make deals with potential partners and sort out issues in regards to their supply chain so it certainly looks like they are going to make good on their promises, with a prospective launch date the moment they get one. Which we hope we get to see really soon, considering their initial launch of the OnePlus One didn’t quite go as planned.
