Qualcomm powers a a wide spectrum of devices and they have just announced its new Snapdragon 210 processor that brings 4G LTE to the masses. This is a new member of the Snapdragon 200 family which currently powers the affordable Moto E and Nokia Lumia 530 smart phones.

With the Snapdragon 210, it offers high-end features including 4G LTE connectivity even dual-SIM standby on LTE. It even supports recording and playback of Full HD 1080p video content, while the main display supports up to 720p resolution. For imaging, it boast better capabilities with support up to 8MP cameras with features including HDR and zero shutter lag. Although smart phones in this category come with smaller capacity batteries, Qualcomm still includes QuickCharge 2.0 that allows you to juice up, up to 75% quicker than standard times.

The Snapdragon 210 solution uses quad-core ARM Cortex A7 which can be clocked up to 1.1GHz and it is mated with a Adreno 304 GPU. Availability wise, it is expected to be rolled out commercially in early 2015. With this, we probably can expect 4G LTE to be supported as standard on most popular entry level devices by 2015.
