Time Internet has introduced a temporary free speed boost for selected Time Fibre Home subscribers, providing higher bandwidth at no additional cost.
The initiative comes as a move to support customers spending more time indoors due to the returning haze, assisting those who are working remotely, attending online classes, or streaming content at home.
Who is eligible for free speed boost?
The temporary upgrade is available to both existing subscribers and new customers who sign up during the promotional period, provided they are on eligible Time Fibre Home tiers.
Specifically, subscribers on the entry-level 200Mbps plan will receive a speed boost to 300Mbps, whilst those on the 600Mbps plan will be bumped up to 800Mbps. Higher-tier offerings, including the 1Gbps and 2Gbps packages, remain at their default speed allocations.
Eligible customers do not need to submit an application, apply promo codes, or extend their contract to receive the higher speeds.
The upgrade is applied automatically across the network. If the boosted bandwidth is not reflected immediately, users are advised to restart their Wi-Fi router to refresh the network connection. Monthly subscription fees remain unaffected throughout the promotion.
What happens after 31 October 2026?
The free speed boost is strictly a limited-time offer valid through 31 October 2026. Once the promotion concludes, all upgraded connections will automatically revert to their original subscribed speeds of 200Mbps or 600Mbps.
Subscribers who wish to continue enjoying the higher speeds on a permanent basis after the campaign ends will need to officially upgrade their broadband package via the Time Self Care portal.
