Honor Malaysia has announced that the new Honor Pad 20 series will be arriving in the local market soon.

Introduced as the direct successor to the Honor Pad 10, the upcoming tablet is positioned to deliver PC-like productivity for students and young professionals seeking an alternative to conventional laptops.

Honor Pad 20 expected specs and features

While local pricing and official specifications have yet to be confirmed, the Honor Pad 20 series was launched in China a few months ago, giving us a clear look at its hardware.

The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display pushing a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 3000×1872 pixels resolution.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. Users can expect storage configurations of 128GB and 256GB, with the device running on MagicOS 10.0 out of the box.

For multimedia, the tablet is equipped with a six-speaker setup. The camera system is straightforward, featuring an 8MP main camera on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls.

Powering the device is a large 10,100mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging.

PC Mode and tablet market dominance

To bridge the gap between tablet portability and laptop functionality, the Honor Pad 20 series includes PC Mode alongside several flagship AI productivity tools.

These features are designed to handle lighter productivity demands, allowing users to study, work and consume media on a single device.

The introduction of the Pad 20 series follows Honor’s continued dominance in the local tablet segment. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), Honor has held the number one spot for Android tablets in Malaysia for 27 consecutive months, spanning from the second quarter of 2024 to the second quarter of 2026.

The brand currently captures a 32-percent market share, a position recently bolstered by the strong sales of its flagship Honor MagicPad 4.

Honor Malaysia will announce the official launch date, final local specifications and pricing details soon.
