Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N Malaysia pricing and availability

The official Malaysian pricing is as follows:

  • Hyundai Ioniq 5 N – RM443,888
  • Hyundai Ioniq 6 N – RM449,888

Both models are imported as completely built-up (CBU) units and are offered exclusively on a built-to-order basis.

As part of the N Launch Package, Ioniq 5 N and 6 N customers will get either a free AC Wallbox Charger or RM1,800 JomCharge charging credit, and N Exclusive Merchandise worth up to RM2,000. These EVs are covered by 8 years/180,000km Vehicle and Battery Warranty, and buyers can also enjoy Interest Rates as low as 1.97%.

Bookings can be placed through authorised Hyundai N dealers including Sime Darby Auto Hyundai in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Goh Brothers Motor in Penang and Heng Lian Enterprise in Kuching.

Visitors can also check out both EVs at Hyundai’s booth during KLIMS 2026, which runs from 12 to 21 June at MITEC Kuala Lumpur.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N specs and features

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N share the motor and battery configuration, and the key difference is the body shape.

The Ioniq 5 N is based on the modern-retro looking Ioniq 5 electric SUV, while the Ioniq 6 N is based on the facelifted Ioniq 6 electric sedan with a sloping coupe roofline.

Power output is rated at 448kW (600hp) and 740Nm as standard, increasing to 478kW (641hp) and 770Nm when N Grin Boost is activated. Hyundai’s N Torque Distribution system also allows drivers to adjust torque delivery from 0% front-wheel drive to 100% rear-wheel drive.

Both models feature an 84kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has a 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 260km/h. It offers up to 448km of WLTP-rated driving range and rides on 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero 275/35R21 tyres.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N adopts a lower and more aerodynamic sedan body style. It has a quicker 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.2 seconds while offering a higher WLTP-rated driving range of up to 487km. Top speed is rated at 257km/h.

The Ioniq 6 N rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero 275/35R20 tyres and features a motorsport-inspired swan-neck rear wing designed to increase downforce while maintaining a drag coefficient of 0.27Cd.

Both models support AC charging at up to 11kW, which takes over 7 hours to fully charge from zero. Similar to its non-N models, it can DC fast charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes when connected to a 350kW DC fast charger. In reality, you should be expecting peak charging rate of about 240kW at a high-powered DC charger.

Inside, both EVs feature illuminated N bucket seats finished in Alcantara and leather, an N steering wheel with paddle shifters, a pair of 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as Hyundai Digital Key 2 which enables owners to lock, unlock and start the vehicle using a smartphone or Apple Watch. Hyundai says Digital Key 2 can also be shared with up to 15 smartphones.

The pair also come equipped with Hyundai SmartSense advanced driver assistance systems including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning, Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control and Highway Driving Assist 2.

For driving enthusiasts, Hyundai has equipped both models with a suite of N-specific technologies including N Launch Control, N Battery System, N Pedal, N Brake Regen, N e-Shift, N Active Sound+, N Drift Optimizer, N Grin Boost, N Torque Distribution and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Ioniq 6 N also gains an exclusive N Track Manager feature.

Hyundai says both models embody the N division’s three core pillars: Corner Rascal, Everyday Sports Car and Race Track Capability, bringing track-focused driving dynamics together with everyday usability.
