U Mobile has introduced its all-new Ultra Prepaid plan which now comes with “unlimited speed”.

In a way, the orange telco has flipped its prepaid offering around as the previous prepaid plans offered “unlimited” plans but with speed caps of 6Mbps to 24Mbps. They have also gotten rid of the old daily or weekend 5G restrictions.

The new plans are available now with weekly plans (7 days) starting from RM12 and monthly plans (30 days) from RM28.

ULTRA5G Priority Pass

With U Mobile’s new ULTRA5G network they have just introduced its new ULTRA5G Priority Pass. These are essentially on-demand 5G network slicing passes which provides a special priority lane for your connection in congested areas such as a busy commercial district or an event venue.

The ULTRA5G Priority Pass comes in two options:

  • 3-hour ULTRA5G Priority Pass – RM5
  • 1-hour ULTRA5G Priority Pass – RM2

U Mobile is offering free ULTRA5G Priority Passes to its prepaid, postpaid and family plans. Once activated, your mobile device will display UM ULTRA5G PRIORITY as the network name. Take note that this feature is available only on 5G SA compatible devices within U Mobile’s own ULTRA5G Network.
