Besides the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi Malaysia has also introduced the Leica Leitzphone that’s powered by Xiaomi. This is their ultimate photography flagship smartphone that packs the best of Leica in a compact mobile device.
Unlike the standard Xiaomi 17 Ultra with Leica co-developed cameras, the Leitzphone gets the iconic Leica design and UI elements and it even comes with a rotating camera ring.
While it can be seen as the “global” version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition that was released in China, the Leica Leitzphone features a slightly different design and a slightly smaller battery.
It gets a mono-tone black fiberglass back cover, while the branding elements including the camera label and the red Leica logo are oriented in vertically instead of horizontally.
