Xiaomi has just announced that its soon-to-be-launched Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are now available for pre-order here in Malaysia, with a tagline “Master light, capture night”, indicating the devices’ focus on nighttime photography. The pre-order period for the Xiaomi 14T Series is held between the 19th of September and the 27th of September 2024 at 3pm.

If you drop a pre-order for the Xiaomi 14T Series with RM100 of deposit, you will get a RM300 discount and free gifts worth up to RM2,276. This includes a Redmi Buds 5 Pro true wireless earbuds and a Xiaomi HyperCharge Combo USB Type-A wall adapter if you pre-order the Xiaomi 14T.
Pre-ordering the Xiaomi 14T Pro on the other hand will get you a Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo true wireless earbuds, and a Xiaomi HyperCharge Combo USB Type-A wall adapter.

Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro specifications and details
Scheduled to make their global launch on the 26th of September 2024, the design of the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro have been leaked online. The smartphones can be seen sporting a camera hump on the back with a tri-camera setup and a flash, arranged in a quadrant at the top left of the devices’ back.
Three colour options are said to be offered with the Xiaomi 14T Series, namely Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. With “titanium” included in their names, does this mean the Xiaomi 14T Series will feature titanium frames? Well, we will have to wait till the official launch to find out. At the front, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are said to feature 6.67-inch 144Hz AMOLED displays with 2712 x 1220 of resolution. These panels are also crazy bright with a peak brightness rating of 4,000 nits.
Powering the Xiaomi 14T is a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip, while the 14T Pro is said to sport an even more powerful Dimensity 9300+ processor. On the imaging side of things, the Xiaomi 14T is said to feature a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony IMX906 sensor. The Xiaomi 14T Pro on the other hand will get a larger 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor with 2x “optical equivalent” zoom.
Both devices will also sport a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom. Handling selfies is a 32MP front camera.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 14T Series are reported to sport the Circle to Search function, thanks to Google’s Gemini AI. This will mark the end of the feature being exclusive to just Google and Samsung smartphones. The Xiaomi 14T Series are said to have a 5,000 mAh battery and will run on Android 14 out of the box with Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin on top.
