Acer has announced their latest gaming monitor in Malaysia, the Nitro ED343CUR H. It’s a decent looking ultrawide curved monitor that on paper at least appears to offer quite a lot of features for gamers while not breaking the bank too.
The Acer Nitro ED343CUR H is priced at RM1,099 and is already available for purchase on the Acer Malaysia website, their official stores on Shopee and Lazada as well as all Acer authorised retailers nationwide. Early birds who snag one of these ultrawide displays will also be able to get a free Predator keychain worth RM69 while stocks last.
For just over a grand, you’ll be getting a decently sized 34-inch curved display in an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1000R curvature, pushing a 3440 x 1440p resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 100Hz. The Nitro ED343CUR H uses a VA panel and can do a 1ms response time too, as well as 300nits of brightness, 90% coverage of the Adobe RGB colour gamut, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, support for Adaptive Sync and HDR10 along with 8-bit colour depth.
Other features of note include built-in 6W speakers, a tilt-adjustable stand, support for 100x100mm VESA wall mounts, six-axis colour adjustment and a ZeroFrame design which not only gets you a near bezelless screen but also makes it easier to set up multi-monitor setups. Of course, being a gaming monitor, you’ll find the all important RGB lighting on the back of the monitor. As for I/O, you get two HDMI 2.0 ports, an audio pass through jack and two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs too. A three year parts and labour warranty is included with your purchase of the Nitro ED343CUR H as well.
