Insta360 has officially unveiled the company’s latest flagship model, the X4. While the new model does not look that different from its predecessor, the X4 certainly carries several major upgrades to the series.
Insta360 X4 Malaysia pricing
Before we dive further into the specifics, let’s talk about the pricing first. Even though it was only revealed to the world last night, you are already able to purchase the X4 in Malaysia.
At the moment, there are two X4 options that customers can choose:
- Insta360 X4 Standalone: RM2,499
- Insta360 Basic Kit: RM2,599
The only difference between these X4 packages is just that the Basic Kit comes together with an Insta360 Invisible Selfie Stick. Each package comes standard with lens guards, lens cloth, protective pouch, USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a 2290mAh battery.
If you are purchasing the new action camera through Insta360’s official store on Lazada or Shopee, you also have the option to add a 64GB SD or 128GB microSD card for an additional fee of RM50 and RM100, respectively. You can also obtain the newly designed premium lens guards from either online stores for RM179 per set.
Insta360 X4 carries plenty of upgrades over X3
Fitted with a brand-new “5nm AI chip”, among the biggest upgrades that the Instat360 X4 has brought to the table is the ability to capture 360-degree footages in 8K resolution at 30fps. In addition to that, the X4 is also able to capture footage in 5.7K resolution at 60fps while there is also the new 4K 100fps setting.
The Me Mode on X4 is also capable of recording at 4K 30fps while its Bullet Time mode can go up to 5.7K 120fps or 3K 240fps. Users also have access to 8K TimeShift and 11K Timelapse modes.
Meanwhile, the X4 also featured removable lens guards. As noted earlier, Instant360 has also come out with a set of premium lens guards that are made from scratch-resistant tempered glass.
As opposed to X3 which has a 2.29-inch display, the X4 is equipped with a larger 2.5-inch screen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Not to forget, X4’s 2290mAh battery is 67% larger than its predecessor and can record footage for much longer at up to 135 minutes with the 5.7K 30fps setting.
