Minuum, the keyboard that’s designed for tight spaces has ventured to another device that no other keyboard has gone before, the Google Glass.
Being a minimalistic keyboard with keys arranged in a single row, typing on Google Glass is possible with eye tracking where it predicts which keys you intend to press. Next they also toyed around with object tracking like in this instance, a smart ring. If that’s not practical, minuum also works with a keyboard layout on a separate surface or even on your arm. While Google Glass is designed for voice input, this allows you to input more discreetly without letting the whole world know what you’re trying to do.
Note that these are not commercially available yet but it does open up the possibility of typing on small screen smart wearables in the future. For now, it is possible to try minuum on your smart phone where it takes up less space thanks to its minimalistic keyboard layout.
