Due to overwhelming demand, AirAsia just added an extra one million seats for the current Free Seats campaign, which ends in three days as of press time. The extra seats are applicable for domestic, regional and international flights with AirAsia and AirAsia X.

Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Aviation Group, Bo Lingam said: “Since the commencement of our first FREE Seats campaign this year, we have witnessed an extraordinary response in the first 72 hours of the sale with the top destinations including Penang, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and more. This is a testament to the strong demand for tourism across ASEAN, and we are thrilled to be flying our guests to their dream destinations at a fraction of the cost. With an additional one million promo seats up for grabs starting today including for medium-haul flights to Melbourne, Taipei, Tokyo and more, we look forward to flying millions of guests in the coming months.”

The current availability of free seats by AirAsia

Deals are available on the airasia Superapp or airasia.com, where travellers can grab such deals as RM28 all-in one-way to domestic hotspots within Malaysia such as Penang, Johor Bahru, and Miri. Other deals spotted on the website include RM83 for ASEAN cities such as Krabi, Bali, Medan, and RM299 all-in one-way to locations across Asia and beyond such as Almaty, Hangzhou, Delhi, Sydney and more.

Additionally, AirAsia is extending its promotional offerings to ancillary services, including a 20% discount on the Fast Pass and Xtra Carry-on baggage. If you are a BigPay customer – you get an extra RM10 for all AirAsia flights.

Fare prices are inclusive of airport taxes, MAVCOM fees, fuel surcharges and any other applicable fees. Like always, terms and conditions apply.
