Electric vehicle (EV) drivers travelling south to Johor Bahru and Singapore now have a new DC fast charging option. Singapore-based Charge+ has switched on its 120kW DC charger unit at the Skudai R&R Southbound and they are offering a special rate of just RM0.90 per minute as part of its launch promo.
Charge+ offers 120kW DC charging for RM0.90 per minute
Charge+’s DC Turbo600 Charger delivers an output of 120kW and it has two CCS2 nozzles. The charger can be activated via the Charge+ app which is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Payment is done via credit and debit card on the app.
At RM0.90 per minute, this is currently the most affordable DC charger and it is located near Wakomo next to the open-air R&R carpark.
The Skudai R&R (Southbound) area is described as the largest EV charging cluster between KL to Singapore with a total of 5 DC chargers and two AC charge points. The location has several F&B options available such as Texas Chicken, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, FamilyMart and Wakomo.
