Realme had just only launched their Realme 11x 5G in Malaysia last month, with the midrange smartphone previously only available exclusively through U Mobile. However, the Chinese brand has now announced that the Realme 11x 5G will also now be available from Unifi.

Specifically, Unifi has now added the Realme 11x 5G as one of the free smartphone options when you subscribe to the Unifi Home and Mobile internet plan. The cheapest plan to carry the Realme 11x 5G is the Unifi Home and Mobile 100Mbps plan, which is priced at RM149/month and comes with a Unifi Home 100Mbps plan, a WiFi 5 router, standard fixed voice rates and a UNI5G Postpaid 89 plan with unlimited 4G+5G data and 10GB hotspot. It’s worth noting that you’ll have to sign up for the 36-month plan if you want the Realme 11x 5G for free, with 24-month contract options requiring an additional RM240 for the smartphone.

You can however get the Realme 11x 5G with the Unifi Home and Mobile 300Mbps plan too at RM189/month. This gets you not just a Unifi Home 300Mbps plan and the UNI5G Postpaid 89 mobile plan, but also a WiFi 6 router instead as well as free 600 minutes of voice from your fixed line. You also won’t have to pay the additional RM240 for a 24-month contract here.

Also worth highlighting is that the Realme 11x 5G is just the latest addition to the lineup of free 5G smartphones available under these two Unifi Home and Mobile plans. Other previous options that you can also pick include the Honor 90 Lite 5G, Vivo V27 5G, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and the Galaxy M14 5G. Both the 100Mbps and 300Mbps plans will also require an additional upfront payment when you sign up for them. You can find out more about the Unifi Home and Mobile plans over on their website.

For a quick refresher, the Realme 11x 5G, with a recommended retail price of RM999, comes with a large 6.72-inch, FHD+ LCD display pushing a peak brightness of 680nits and is capable of a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood meanwhile is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ system-on-chip, mated to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage running Android 13 out of the box.

As for cameras, the Realme 11x 5G has a main 64MP, f/1.79 main camera on the back sat next to a 2MP portrait sensor in a large, circular camera bump with an 8MP front facing camera for selfies. You’ll also find a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
