If you’re in the market for a new TV that’s 4K resolution and Google TV-capable, Prism+’s latest Q-Series of displays might be up your alley. According to Prism+, their new TVs are their first ever 4K QLED displays and are supposedly positioned to be cheaper than similar models from rivals.
Prism+ Q-Series Malaysia pricing and availability
The Prism+ Q-Series of displays will come in three sizes, and is available for purchase from now onwards already from their website, the official Prism+ store on Lazada and Shopee as well as Prism+’s retail outlets in IOI City Mall and Sunway Pyramid. Here’s how much they cost:
- Prism+ Q75 Ultra – RM4,499
- Prism+ Q65 Ultra – RM3,299
- Prism+ Q55 Ultra – RM2,299
If you do get one of these new displays, you’ll also be able to get a year of VIU for free along with three months of WeTV, Durioo+ and MeWatch.
Prism+ Q-Series specs
Available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch configurations, Prism+ says that by using QLED panels these new TVs are able to produce brighter whites and darker blacks. All three models will come with a 4K UHD resolution along with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
As for audio, the Prism+ Q-Series displays come with a pair of 10W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. There’s also wireless connectivity support for WiFi 2.4/5GHz and Bluetooth 5.1, while for I/O there’s three HDMI ports, a HDMI ARC port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an AV in port, an optical audio port and an RF in port.
You’ll also find it running Google TV out of the box, allowing you to download any apps you want off the Google PlayStore. This also lets you mirror or cast your content from your smartphone to the display without the need for a Chromecast. Google TV might be of interest to parents too, thanks to the ability for parental controls.
