When the ultra slim Motorola RAZR was launched in Malaysia, Motorola mentions that it will be upgraded to the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Originally planned for Q2 2012, we have yet to see anything from them until now.
In Greece, a RAZR owner had a problem with his device and has sent it in for repairs. When he got his unit back, he noticed something really different and looks like the service centre had flashed the unfinalised version of its upcoming ICS software. When questioned, Motorola and the telco that did the repairs refuse to reveal any details of the upgrade.
Looking at things, we might be expecting Motorola to roll out the upgrade pretty soon and version 4.0.4 is rather new that’s currently running on the Galaxy S III. Today, the 7.1mm Motorola RAZR is still the slimmest device you can get locally and it is now going for RM1699.
